We are happy to announce our association with St. Catherine\u2019s Home, Andheri West, Mumbai. The Axium Global family collected and donated food, stationery and hygiene products to orphaned girls (as young as babies and as old as 19<\/span>) at the home during the 9<\/span> days of the \u2018Navratri Festival\u2019 which is celebrated in India annually.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1922<\/span>, St. Catherine\u2019s Home was Ida Dickenson\u2019s initiative to provide shelter and an environment of love and care to homeless children, with a view to empowering deprived, abused and underprivileged children to be more confident, qualified and responsible citizens.<\/p>\n

Axium Global staff members visited St. Catherine\u2019s Home campus, which houses 325<\/span> girls under the age of 20<\/span>. A well-secured and peaceful haven, it was neat and attractive, with plenty of greenery. The baby care centre housed newborns tended by nannies and toddlers played in the garden. The teenagers were well-mannered and friendly and are educated up to Year 10<\/span> on campus. Children undergo regular medical check-ups and counselling.<\/p>\n

Axium Global plans to continue its support of the home in the forthcoming months as part of our \u2018work in our community\u2019 initiative which provides our teams with the opportunity to help and support the immediate community in which they live and work.<\/p>\n
